St. Brigid’s B.N.S. is an all boys’ Catholic school under the patronage of the Archdiocese of Dublin. It caters for all pupils from Junior Infants to 6th Class. In St. Brigid’s B.N.S., we are committed to providing a happy, safe, caring and respectful learning environment, where each child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

All children in our inclusive school community are helped to develop their unique academic, spiritual, physical, social and emotional needs. St. Brigid’s B.N.S. promotes habits of mutual respect, courtesy and an awareness of the interdependence of people within the school and larger community.

Together we endeavour:

  • To create a welcoming, secure and inclusive environment which promotes a positive attitude to learning and behaviour

  • To offer a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum to meet the needs of all our pupils.

  • To ensure that all children reach their full potential while preparing them for lifelong learning.

All staff members, parents and pupils share a collective responsibility for these values. We welcome student voice and encourage pupils to adopt an active role in their individual learning. Our school is a positive learning community which nurtures pupil’s emotional and social wellbeing. In St. Brigid’s B.N.S. we believe in investing in our young people in order to develop their foundations for a successful and happy life.
