2nd Class
Ms. Kavanagh's 2nd Class - November
The boys have been working extremely hard this month. They have been working on fractions and using hands on activities to learn how to find halves and quarters of numbers. Our visit to the Art Exhibition was very exciting. The boys loved finding their own masterpieces as well as being inspired by others. As part of our history learning on toys past and present the boys had the chance to show some of the toys they love to their friends. Christmas show preparations are in full swing too. We can’t wait to see you there!

Ms. Kavanagh's 2nd Class - October
October was a jam-packed month in 2nd class! The boys enjoyed their nature walk in St. Anne’s Park and time in the outdoor classroom. We found lots of signs of Autumn. We had a fantastic golden time building with our new classroom toys, thanks to the Parents' Association! The boys have been working hard on their James Rizzi inspired art work and have created beautiful pieces. While learning about the life cycle of animals, the boys learned about how AI could be used to help protect sea creatures from pollution.
Maths week was lots of fun and the boys got to use their maths skills during maths games and activities and at the maths carnival. After a hard working month the boys have earned a well deserved midterm break!

Ms. Kavanagh's 2nd Class - September
We have had an epic first month in 2nd class. The boys have enjoyed reuniting with their friends after the summer break. We have been busy with lots of hands-on learning activities. Friendship week was a great success, singing at assembly, learning about being an upstander and lots more.
